Description

The Large Burn Torso Simulator Adhesive features first, second, and third degree burns. The adhesive burn measures 10 in. x 14.5 in. area. This moulage represents an approximate five percent total body surface area (TBSA). Molded from rugged materials that feature realistic injury deformities and are reusable and washable.

Construction
The representative skin and tissue of the adhesive wounds is constructed of high-quality silicone rubber, with layers of coloration that provide a depth and realism to the product. In addition, the SOFTTECH® material has a realistic feel, and is very durable and UV resistant. The skin also contains a reinforcing fabric that provides strength, and resistance to tear propagation should the skin be punctured or cut.

Operation
The realistic wounds are ready for application right from the package. Between scenarios, the wounds can be transferred from actor to actor, without any touch-up. Wounds can be reused multiple times. If the wound becomes dirty simply wash with warm water to “reactivate” the self-adhesive backing. No need for makeup glue.

Maintenance
Reattach to the shiny-surface of the provided release-paper for storage. Keep out of direct sunlight. Before attaching the wound on the provided release-paper backing, the device should be rinsed in clean, warm water and allowed to dry before storage. The device may be washed with mild detergents like dish soap or cleaned with a disinfecting agent like isopropyl alcohol or a diluted bleach solution, as it is durable, and chemically resistant. Allow the devices to dry fully before storage to prevent mould or mildew growth.
